Sweet Tea & Chai Society is built by community volunteers. If you're interested in helping bring meaningful experiences to local teens, we'd like to talk to you.

 

Volunteer Opportunities

 

Event-Day Support

Help set up, run activities, distribute food/drinks, supervise spaces, and break down at the end of events. You don't need experience—just a willingness to show up and help.

 

Outreach & Recruitment

Help spread the word about STACS to teens and parents through schools, community organizations, churches, and local networks.

 

Logistics & Planning

Help coordinate venue arrangements, supply procurement, volunteer scheduling, and event logistics. No experience required—we'll guide you.

 

Fundraising

Help identify funding opportunities, write grant proposals, or organize community fundraising events.

 

What We'll Provide

• Training on the program model, youth mental health, and safety protocols.

• Clear roles and expectations.

• A flexible schedule that works for you.

• A team that cares about the work.

 

What We Need from You

• Background check (required for any adult contact with teens).

• Commitment to complete mandatory training before your first event.

• Agreement to our Code of Conduct (safety, privacy, professionalism).

• Willingness to show up and do your part.

 

Time Commitment

1 meeting per month (60 minutes) plus flexible tasks between meetings. Event-day volunteers: typically 3–4 hours per event. You choose what works for you.
